Hemet Sportsmans Club – Hemet Sportsman's Club

Welcome to Hemet Sportsman's Club

The Hemet Sportsman’s Club is a non-profit organization that supports youth athletic teams and athletes throughout the San Jacinto Valley. The club’s roots date back to the 1970’s when a group of men came together to provide financial support, specifically to Hemet High School athletics. After going dormant for nearly three decades, in 2011 a group of former athletes from Hemet and San Jacinto resurrected the organization, attained its non-profit status, and expanded its mission to include schools and athletic teams throughout the entire San Jacinto Valley and Anza.

Member Involvement

Admittance to the Hemet Sportsman’s Club is by way of invitation. Each member in good standing is eligible to sponsor new members. The club members meet for dinner the second Wednesday of each month where we plan our many events and fundraisers. Since funding of sports teams is our primary mission, sports and camaraderie is the glue that binds us – many of us are former athletes that desire to give back to the community in a meaningful way.

“My involvement with the Sportsman’s Club dates back to the 80’s. It is from a desire for volunteerism and a passion to support local athletes, that I got involved with the Sportsman’s Club.”
Mark Chamberlin HHS Class of ‘84

“I got involved to connect with like-minded men who had a heart to make a difference in the community by supporting athletics.”
Kris Covey HHS Class of ‘76
